FAE/FCE Functional Ability Evaluation
When an employee is off from work due to a work related illness or disability, we conduct a Functional Ability/ Capacity Evaluation before they return to work. These comprehensive evaluations include a measurement of the individual’s ability to perform various physical task and endurance.
These results are used:
- While making return to work & job placement decisions
- For disability evaluation
- If additions are needed to the treatment plan
A functional ability/Capacity evaluation is an objective method of evaluating the physical abilities of an individual that is supported by research thereby removing the clinical guesswork from the equation.
